I received a 6 pieces steak knife set with serrated long blades made of high-carbon damascus steel. They are "ideal for cutting meat and poultry." We don't eat steak or non-ground meat very frequently, but I believe this claim since these knives are very sharp and tear through tough-fiber veggies just fine. They are comfortable to use and I felt in no danger of losing control of the knife, so I'm pleased with them.
