6.5 Inch Professional Chef Knife

This knife is amazing, I actually cut myself trying to remove the wrapping in it. It's very very sharp and had held it's edge very well. It feels great in the hand and is very well balanced. This knife is versatile so I can go from cutting and cleaning meats to chopping vegetables. The handle is made of wood that feels really great in my hand and is ergonomically shaped. Beautiful, simple and does everything I need it to do.

Love it! I almost cut my finger playing around with it! It is sooo sharp, no joke!

My wife's favorite knife in the kitchen is a Shun Premier 8 inch utility knife so when I saw these knives I thought the 6.5 inch would be a good backup and for the price I ordered the paring knife as well. They arrived and were beautiful, so much so that when I visited my out-of-town family and found the knives at their bar couldn't cut a lime I order the utility knife and the chef knife for them. I already have too many chef knives for a home cook but loved the Chef knife so much I came back to order one for myself. After one use it has taken my more expensive knife from it's #1 spot. My wife is still using the Shun 8 inch over the 6.5 inch but I'm happy I have the set. Ive seen most of the reviews were for the smaller knives but don't pass up the chef knife, it's great.
